RAF TYPHOONS are in Romania for the first time in support of a new NATO mission.

The state-of-the-art aircraft from 3 (Fighter) Squadron based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire are working closely with other NATO allies to help to secure the airspace in the Black Sea region.

They are based at Mihail Kogalniceanu (MK) airbase near Constanta as part of 135 Expeditionary Air Wing (EAW).
